The demand for algae-derived biofuels has increased, but there are significant obstacles to turning microalgae into a sustainable energy source, including their high production costs and need for freshwater.


The seeds and skins of pineapples, mangoes, and papayas can be utilised to promote the growth of microalgae since they are nutrient-rich. To cultivate the microalgae C. vulgaris and H. pluvialis. The diluted papaya, pineapple, and mango waste can be used as nutrients. Tropical organic fruit waste is the best nutrient addition to replace the traditional inorganic media.
