• According to Regulation 25 of National Registration Regulations 1990. holding or keeping someone else’s IC is a punishable offence.

Those are the officers who just can check your IC(Identification Card) :

1. Police officers. (Don't forget to check their police ID before you give them your IC)

2. JPN (Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara)officers

3. Customs officers

4. Any officers/public officers with permission from JPN’s director-general

5. Army officers who are on duty
