Is the flavour of your ☕ off? Your machine might contain mould.

1. Mold and bacteria may develop.

  • Coffee grounds container, and bottom chamber of a moka pot, for example, moist coffee dregs turn to mould.

  • Additionally, coffee's oil and fat are deposited here.

2. Mold growth is particularly prone to the milk nozzle and tank.

  • Wherever milk is consumed and not discarded, bacteria grow.

3. Avoid using acidic cleaners.

  • Strong acidity can damage seals and tubes while citric acid shortens the life of the machinery.

  • Coffee makers should be kept away from vinegar.

  • It's excessively aggressive and might harm the machine's plastic components.
