As previously stated, the new card allows for smartphone top-ups. To make this work, you'll need to wait for the updated Touch 'n Go e-Wallet app, which will have a new feature that allows you to refill your cards. Touch 'n Go hasn't given a firm date for the debut, but it's likely to come shortly.
However, both iOS and Android users will be able to use a new top-up option that requires users to insert the card at the back of the phone for at least 5 seconds. You'll be able to transfer credit from your e-Wallet to the new Enhanced TNG card in this way.
If you want to use the new card right away, you'll have to top it up at one of the TNG Kiosks or over-the-counter at participating retailers and retail outlets. The serial number can already be used to attach the card to the Touch 'n Go e-Wallet, allowing you to see the balance, expiration date, and enable Pay Direct.
