6 Most Common Job-Interview Questions

Updated: Apr 11, 2022

Tell me about yourself

Highlight specific accomplishments, with a summary of your career and passions, and how they led you to apply for this. Being tailored to the role you're applying for and having a personal brand will keep interviewers interested.

Why do you want to work here

You can say because of reputation and scope of work you think you suit. Tell your strengths, achievements, and skills, then link them to the job you're applying for.

Strength

You can mention leadership, independent work, teamwork. Take it lightly, though, as answering a question like this can feel too pompous.

Weakness

For example, if you lack computer skills, you can mention it and offer a solution to fix it. You make the interviewer think that you are aware of your weaknesses and will improve upon them.

Where do you see yourself in next 5 years?

You can mention specific skills you want to develop, avoid saying you want to change job.

What task did you do in your previous job

You can share what you do, you can say you want to do work outside the scope of your job or whatever you want to try.
