1. Pay special attention to your neck and shoulders

  • Raise your arms above your head and stand up straight and bring your chin to your chest as you bend your head forward.

  • Clasp your hands behind your head and gently press it forward until your neck stretches a little.

2. Deep breaths and visualisations of the flow

  • Imagine the oxygen flowing into your heart as you inhale deeply for around five seconds.

  • exhale for approximately five seconds, envisioning it flowing out.

  • Continue to breathe in this pattern while imagining anything that makes you happy - a pleasant scent, for example.

3. Use your senses to their full potential.

  • It's soothing to rub your hands together and then place them over your eyes.

  • Feel your stiff neck muscles relax as you massage them.

  • Squeezing the little ball can be soothing, and you can do it under your desk where no one will see you.
